Budapest, November 13, 2007 (MTI-ECONEWS) - Hungary's Dijbeszedo Holding, which provides billing services for Budapest utility companies, has purchased a 70pc stake in printing company FOLD-R for an undisclosed price, Dijbeszedo said on Tuesday.
FOLD-R will continue to operate under its own management, but as a member of Dijbeszedo Holding. FOLD-R had revenue of HUF 600m in 2006. It has a staff of 25. Dijbeszedo had revenue of HUF 8.1bn in 2006, of which three-fourths came from collecting and processing utilities bills. The company employs 830 staff to process some 15m bills a year. Dijbeszedo announced in October it planned to double output of its printing division, in part by making acquisitions.
